Inner Island is a rare investment in yourself. It’s a space to identify what’s holding you back and move beyond what you thought was possible, personally professionally and creatively.

The result is a holistic Future Design framework that helps you clarify your direction unlock new perspectives and take meaningful action.

The Five Phases

Our process is built with a red thread from A-Z so you can experience a progression in your development and have tangible outcomes, such as an overall vision, strategy, guiding values and action plans.

  • 1 | DISCOVER
    Past & Current Situation

    Look back to identify and understand your past successes. Familiarise yourself with your habits, strengths and positive values that brought you here. Create a realistic base for analysing your current situation by tracking your strengths and weaknesses as well as the potential opportunities and threats you are facing in the future.

    2 | DEFINE
    Challenges & Strategic Values

    Your values reflect what is important to you. Together with your beliefs, values are the causal factors that drive your decision-making. In this stage, you define strategic values based on your past successes. You will also define your main challenges and learn how to turn them into positively framed questions that open up new possibilities.

    3 | DREAM
    Up an Attractive Future

    Envision an attractive future by nurturing your dreams and ambitions beyond limits. If you believe that the future can be shaped by you, then why not create the most inspiring horizon right from the get-go? After this phase, you will have an inspiring vision which guides a clear and meaningful direction in life.

    4 | DESIGN
    Approaches to Reach Your Dream

    In this stage, you will develop various ideas of ways and approaches to reach your vision. You will acknowledge your contexts and stakeholders, and you will create the real-life next steps and stages transforming your vision into reality. You will be guided and coached to create a concrete plan of how to proceed from your current situation into your desired future.

    5 | DEDICATE
    Commit to Your Transformation

    Getting things done. This phase asks you to define and commit to a pilot project – the very first milestone of your journey towards your goals. The real-life pilot project is built on an upgraded understanding of habits, confidence and proactive dedication to reach the measurable outcomes.

  • Participants come to Inner Island with both personal and professional challenges. Past inquiries include:

    • How might I develop deeply nurturing close relationships, and what would it mean at this stage of my life?  

    • How might I take agency of my life to live it more authentically and fully? 

    • How might I create the best conditions to explore and develop the artistic dimensions of me that have been idle for so long? 

    • How might I use my knowledge, previous experiences, network and resources to increase the odds for a more sustainable world?

    • How might I use what I learned from my burnout to improve my leadership style?   

    • How might I develop my company so it can grow without me?


    Through guided methods and focused intention, they begin to understand:

    • What shaped my past flow and success?

    • What is my current landscape, internal and external?

    • Which challenge, if addressed, would unlock the greatest change?

    • What does a meaningful future look like for me?

    • Which values will support that direction?

    • What strategies and actions will move me there?

  • Mindfulness

    When the mind is reactive, our thoughts distort reality. Inner Island creates a space for stillness and presence so that your decisions emerge from clarity rather than noise. The methodology is grounded in research on behaviour change, mindfulness, and yogic science, inviting growth on both the personal and systemic level.


    Community Support

    You are not alone in this process. Through carefully match-made peer coaching groups and full group sessions, participants receive reflection and encouragement while also supporting others on their path. New perspectives emerge in dialogue.


    Safe Space and Vulnerability

    Growth begins when you step beyond what is familiar. At Inner Island, we create a space where you can take that step, held by trust, depth, and mutual care. Vulnerability becomes a strength, and fear gives way to movement.

  • Inner Island’s methodology draws from multiple disciplines including transformation design, appreciative inquiry, proactive planning, peer coaching, strategy development and contemplative practice.

    We believe that diverse modalities disrupt habitual thinking and generate new perspectives. This layered approach is what allows real insight and sustained transformation to emerge.

19 & 20 Sept, Stockholm

Inner Island <3 innerdance

Two unique evenings with Pi Villaraza, the founder of the global innerdance movement, together with Iituli Aalto and Henrik Johansson.

The first evening introduces the foundations of innerdance, a process where music is used to simultaneously co-activate the Autonomic Nervous System and the body’s Circadian Clocks, shifting our perceptions of time and space.
The second evening expands the experience by combining innerdance with vision practices to help you imagine and shape a meaningful future direction.
