”Inner island is a wonderful and clarifying experience for those thinking about their next chapter in their life and not sure how to go about it.”

— Earlier Inner Island Participant

Located in the mountain valleys of Palawan, Maia Earth Village is a living experiment in sustainability, where humans, animals, plants, and elements share equal ground. Here, solar energy and rainwater sustain daily life, while forests, rivers, and fertile soil shape the rhythm of community.

Guided by permaculture and Indigenous ecological knowledge, Maia is not just a place to stay, it’s a training ground for resilience, a sanctuary for natural building, regenerative farming, and healing practices.

In this setting of quiet abundance and raw nature, you’ll be held by a community that lives simply, close to the Earth, and open to transformation.

All You Need to Know

  • At the heart of this experience is the 5-phase Future Design Process, a powerful synthesis of strategic thinking, somatic presence, and timeless insight.

    You’ll move through:

    1 | Discover
Reconnect with your past strengths and clarify your present

    2 | Define
Identify your key challenges and strategic values

    3 | Dream
Envision a meaningful and expansive future

    4 | Design
Develop tangible strategies and next steps

    5 | Dedicate
Commit to action and launch your transformation

You can read more about our methodology here.

  • innerdance is a transformative practice that uses intentional sound and mindful touch to guide you into profound states of self-discovery and expanded consciousness. Important to clarify, this is not "dance" in the conventional sense of choreographed movement or external steps; participants typically lie down and surrender to a carefully designed sound journey.

As you journey, the "DJing of the Mind" uses specific rhythms and frequencies to gently shift your brainwave states, from the relaxed Alpha waves (like daydreaming) to the very deep Delta waves (like deep sleep). This non-substance-based method helps you deconstruct old ways of thinking and access new perspectives on your personal journey.

By engaging your nervous system and encouraging spontaneous inner movement, innerdance fosters healing and new neural connections for personal development.

  • The Inner Island program will take place at Maia Earth Village, a living community for sustainability and transformation located in the quiet mountain valleys outside Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Powered by solar energy and rainwater, Maia is a place where humans, animals, plants, and the elements share equal ground, guided by permaculture principles and Indigenous ecological knowledge.

Rather than a retreat center in the traditional sense, Maia is a hands-on learning ground where regenerative farming, natural building, and community resilience are practiced daily. Just five minutes from a pristine beach and fifteen minutes from a more secluded shoreline, Maia offers the rare balance of mountain stillness and ocean horizon.

The setting is abundant yet untouched by mass tourism, creating an ideal atmosphere for reflection, visioning, and deep recalibration.

Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit, so you can enjoy dips in the river during mornings, between sessions, and in the evenings.
