Two Evenings

19 & 20 September, Wisdom Works Studios, Stockholm

The first evening demonstrates how music is used to simultaneously co-activate
the Autonomic Nervous System and the body’s Circadian Clocks, shifting our perceptions
of time and space. The second evening expands the experience by combining innerdance with vision practices to help you imagine and shape a meaningful future direction.

You are welcome to join one evening or both, each offers a different applications on innerdance.

What is innerdance?

The name innerdance does not refer to external movement but to the spontaneous movements that arise from within. The process begins by lying down, closing your eyes, and surrendering to carefully curated soundscapes. Live modular synthesizer music signals neurotransmitter and hormonal chemistries that synchronize with brain waves, guiding you into REM-like states.

Commonly reported experiences include:

  • Expanded awareness and altered states of consciousness

19 Sept – Introductory Talk & Workshop on innerdance

On September 19th, Pi Villaraza comes to Sweden for the first time, joined by Iituli Aalto, who brought the movement to Finland 11 years ago.

This evening workshop includes an introductory talk on the science and spirituality of innerdance, as well as guided journeys with live modular synthesizer music. Together, Pi and Iituli will demonstrate how sound and energy interact to open pathways into expanded states of consciousness.

For the workshop, one needs only trust in oneself and the openness in heart, mind and body.

20 Sept – Inner Island <3 innerdance Workshop: Vision & Future Direction

On the following evening, Inner Island hosts a complementary but distinct workshop. Here, the innerdance process is combined with vision practices and reflective exercises that help you translate the insights from your journey into clarity for your next steps in life.

Through stillness, soundscapes, and gentle touch, participants are guided into altered states of awareness. The session then shifts toward active reflection and visioning, opening up new perspectives and pathways toward future directions.

Facilitated by Henrik Johansson (Inner Island founder), together with Pi Villaraza and Iituli Aalto.

  • Founder innerdance movement

    Pi Villaraza is a healer, teacher, and researcher exploring the fine line between the conscious and unconscious. Since 2007, his work on conscious Dreamtime, popularized globally as the innerdance process has reached people in over 22 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. What many see as mystical altered states of consciousness, Pi translates into practical applications for schools, medicine, psychology, addiction programs, prisons, and companies.

    His journey began as a hermit on a Philippine beach living on a coconut diet, where he encountered the energy process that has since transformed thousands of lives. Over the past two decades, he has bridged spirituality and science, showing how music and multi-sensory approaches alter the autonomic nervous system and evoke dreamlike, psychedelic states.

    Pi lives in Maia Earth Village, an ecovillage he co-founded in the Philippines, where he and his wife run an NGO focused on sustainability, education, and healing. He is also a founder of the Global Ecobrick Movement, a former ambassador of the Global Ecovillage Network, and the author of Conscious Trance and Transformation Medicine.

    Born in Finland and now based in Palawan, Philippines, IItuli is the Co-founder of an eco-village and international training center rooted in regenerative living and inner transformation. With over two decades of experience in studying diverse wisdom traditions, Iituli has spent the past ten + years deeply immersed in the science of innerdance, facilitating trainings and immersive programs for a global community. She brought the movement to Finland 11 years ago.

    Before fully dedicating herself to this path, she held senior roles in the NGO sector and worked as a producer for large-scale international fund raising events .and advocacy campaigns. Her background in managing large scale projects, inclusive leadership and experiential learning informs her grounded yet expansive approach to transformation work.

    Iitulis own journey took a profound turn in 2014 when she first attended Inner Island. The experience catalyzed a radical life shift, ultimately leading her to relocate to the Philippines and fully embrace a life of alignment, purpose, and service.

    Since then, she has co-facilitated Inner Island on several occasions and now brings her deep expertise in innerdance to enrich and evolve the Inner Island methodology. Her presence weaves together the intuitive, the somatic, and the visionary, supporting participants to access deeper truth, clarity, and embodied direction

  • Founder Inner Island

    Henrik is the founder of Inner Island, co-creator at Emerging and founder of Fantastic Studios. He studied at Kaospilots, a world-renowned school for creative leadership and business.

    Early in his life, Henrik started his first business and intentionally designed his lifestyle to allow for exploration, extensive study and retreat periods dedicated to exploring the world and the mind. Over the past 25 years, he has traveled extensively, particularly to India and Myanmar, where he has practiced various forms of mindfulness meditation. He has spent more than two years in silent retreats, training with some of the world’s leading meditation and yoga teachers.

    Henrik has a deep interest in the global mental health revolution. His first psychedelic experience in his early twenties sparked a lifelong curiosity about the nature of the mind and consciousness.

    Professionally, Henrik designs and facilitates processes for organizational and personal transformation, helping individuals and groups envision the future, navigate change, and develop strategies to turn visions into reality. Passionate about collective intelligence, he has facilitated group processes for over 20 years and more than 10,000 participants. He has been involved in innovation projects with organizations such as Hyper Island, Greenpeace, Adidas and IKEA.
